This manual-feed Smyth Europea Book Sewing Machine is a semi-automatic thread sewing system, ideal for the production of high-quality, sewn book blocks in short or medium runsThe operator manually opens each signature at the fold and places it onto the fixed transport saddleThe section is then taken by pushers and transferred to the sewing saddle, where an automatic registering device aligns the signatures before sewing.
Thanks to its precise mechanical construction, the machine ensures tight, consistent stitchingBoth sewing and hook needles are easy to align with the pre-punched holes, guaranteeing high accuracy and durabilityIt includes an automatic thread cut-off system, and when a signature is not loaded, the machine performs a blind stitch automatically.
